Having a relationship with Jesus is a beautiful experience.

Every man is a sinner by birth. We were completely cut off from a relationship with God by reason of the sinful nature  that came through Adam, the first man to be created. We were condemned and doomed for hell.

Because of the love God had for mankind, He sent his only son, Jesus to the earth to be a substitute for our sins. Jesus left his glory above and took on the human form. He went to the cross bearing all of our sins so we can have eternal life. That means death is just a transition to a greater glory if we receive what he has done for us. Imagine spending the rest of your life in heaven with God instead of hell for eternity.

Jesus who knew no sin became sin for us so that we could receive the righteousness of God. When Jesus went to the cross, He took our shame, our condemnation and all our sins in his body. On the third day, He arose and now we can rejoice in the new nature that brings life and peace to us.

‘It is finished.’ These were his last words before he gave up the ghost. What finished? The power of the devil to hold us captive ended on that cross.

Why would you want to miss all the great benefits God has provided for you?  Now, this is the beautiful part. You don’t even have to work to get this gift of righteousness. It is free!

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one, how much more they which received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17)

It is a gift. All you have to do is receive it. Do you want to accept this gift of righteousness that Christ offers?

Say this prayer below;

Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Forgive me of all my sins .Wash me with your precious blood. I believe you died and rose from the dead to give me a new life. I receive this gift of righteousness. I confess you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for saving me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, Halelluyah! Amen.

If you have just said that prayer, welcome into the family of God. Do send an email to me at I look forward to hearing from you. God bless you.
