Recently, one of my teens reached out to me on WhatsApp.

‘Can we go back to the days we read the scriptures together?’

I smiled, knowing how he looked forward to the evenings when we talked about the chapter we had read for the day. But the cares of this life just sucked that away.

I agreed because I knew it would not just help his growth process, it would also help me stay disciplined. We settled for one of the epistles of Paul

From the very first verse, my eyes have been opened to salient lessons which I hope to share here. I have not been able to go past verse 5 even though the plan was to read a chapter daily. I have decided not to rush this. With other materials to aid my understanding, I’m taking this slow and steady.

Some persons have approached me to ask if I know of any platform where they could study the Word and share scriptures. One even pleaded with me to start a bible study meeting in Ibadan.

Many believers are hungry for the Word. We want to see great growth in our lives. Sometimes in the midst of the busyness of life, our spiritual life become lean leaving us frustrated when we give in to temptations or  wonder why we sink so quickly under the pressure of life.

In a short while on the blog, I’ll be sharing certain lessons from this book.

This scripture quickly comes to mind.

And He said unto them, ‘These are the words which I spake unto you while I was with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets and in the psalms concerning Me. Luke 24:44.

Any gospel that does not have Christ at the Centre is a fake gospel. It will never bring any definite transformation in a man’s life.

As we read the Word, our only desire and longing is that we may see the risen Lord. It is our earnest expectation that the nature we have received may be revealed more and more as we behold Christ…Nothing else matters.

Do subscribe to my blog to receive notifications when the study begins.
